What are the methods of reinforcement?


1. Carbon fiber cloth reinforcement method

Carbon fiber cloth reinforcement method is a new type of structural reinforcement technology, it is the use of resin cementing materials to paste carbon fiber cloth on the surface of the concrete, and the structure to form an overall force system, enhance the reinforced structure bending or shear capacity, so as to achieve the purpose of structural reinforcement and improve the structural force performance.

2. Increasing cross-section reinforcement method

The method of increasing cross-section reinforcement is to increase the bearing capacity by increasing the force reinforcement of the original member, and at the same time re-pouring concrete on the outside to increase the cross-sectional size of the member. The advantage is that the stiffness, bearing capacity and deformation capacity of the component can be increased at the same time, and the reliability of the connection can be enhanced in some cases. Therefore, a beam-slab structure and a column structure which are frequently used to reinforce a reinforced concrete structure. The additional concrete may be in the tensile zone, which plays a bonding and protective role for the additional reinforcement; it may also be in the compression zone, increasing the effective height of the component, thereby improving the bending and shear bearing capacity of the component, strengthening the stiffness of the component, and improving the force capacity of the component.

3. Steel-wrapped reinforcement method

The steel-wrapped reinforcement method is a reinforcement method in which the four corners or both sides of the structural member are wrapped with steel. Its advantages are: in the case of a small increase in the cross-sectional size of the component, the load-bearing capacity of the component is greatly improved, and the ductility and stiffness are increased. It is mainly used for the reinforcement of concrete columns, beams, roof trusses and brick windows. Traditionally, the steel directly wrapped in the original column (and the original column is not bonded), or although stuffed with cement mortar but can not guarantee the effective transmission of joint surface shear force wrapped steel method is called dry wrapped steel reinforcement method. However, a certain distance will be left between the section steel and the original column, and latex cement slurry or epoxy mortar will be added or fine stone concrete will be poured between them. The reinforcement method of bonding the two into one is called wet package steel reinforcement method.

4. Prestressed reinforcement method

Prestressed reinforcement method is the use of prestressed carbon fiber plate to strengthen the structure of the method. It can improve the bearing capacity of the normal section and oblique section of the structural member under the condition of almost no change in the use of space. At the same time, it can effectively reduce or slow down the stress hysteresis of the post-added bar, reduce the crack width of the original beam, and even make it completely closed.

5. Sticky steel reinforcement method

Sticking steel reinforcement method is to use special building structural adhesive to bond steel plates on the surface of reinforced concrete members, which is a reinforcement method to improve the bearing capacity and deformation capacity of the structure. The advantages of this method are simple and fast, and the impact on production activities and residents' lives is relatively small during construction. The external bonding steel plate reinforcement method is often used to strengthen the flexural and tensile members of wind reinforced concrete under static load.
